Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of this website and any watch you buy from us. By placing an order you accept them.
About these terms
This website is operated by SEIGEM. Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to SEIGEM, and “you” refers to the person using this site or placing an order. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@seigem.com.
Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we send your order confirmation email, after your payment has been verified. We may decline an order if an item is unavailable, if a pricing error has occurred, or if we suspect fraud.
If we decline an order after taking payment, we refund it in full to your original payment method.
Prices and payment
- All prices are shown in euros (EUR).
- Prices include VAT where the destination requires it, as shown at checkout.
- Shipping is charged separately and is displayed before you pay.
- Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We never receive or store your full card details.
- If your bank applies a currency conversion or foreign transaction fee, that is between you and your bank.
Product descriptions and images
We describe every watch as accurately as we can, including case diameter, movement, materials and water resistance. Product photographs are of the actual model, but colours can appear differently depending on your screen, and minor manufacturing variations can occur between production batches.
The specifications published on each product page form part of the description of the goods.
Availability
Stock levels displayed on this site are maintained in good faith but are not a guarantee. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and offer either an alternative or a full refund.
Delivery
Delivery estimates are given in business days and are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost in transit, we will replace it or refund you in full — you will not be left out of pocket for a parcel you never received.
Your right to cancel and return
You may return an unworn watch within 30 days of delivery. Full details, including who pays return postage and refund timelines, are set out in our returns policy, which forms part of these terms.
Warranty
Every SEIGEM movement carries a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. The warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them. It excludes accidental damage, water damage beyond the stated rating, normal wear to straps and bracelets, and consumable batteries.
Your statutory rights
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use this site for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its systems or another customer's order.
- Scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of this site without our written permission.
- Place fraudulent orders or use a payment method you are not authorised to use.
Intellectual property
The SEIGEM name, logo, photography, copy and site design are our property or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written consent.
Limitation of liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or opportunity, arising from a delayed or failed delivery.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier strikes, customs action, natural disasters or public health emergencies. Where such an event occurs, we will contact you and, if the delay is substantial, offer a full refund.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU or UK, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence, and nothing in this clause affects your right to do so.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your purchase are those in force on the date you placed your order.
