Who we are

SEIGEM is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, contact support@seigem.com.

What we collect

• Order information: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the shipping address you enter at checkout.
• Order contents: which watches, finishes and quantities you purchased, and the price you paid.
• Payment references: the transaction identifier returned by our payment processor, the amount, currency and status. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Account information (only if you choose to create one): your email address, display name, and any saved delivery address.
• Support correspondence: the messages you send us.

What we do not collect

• Your card number, expiry date or security code.
• Advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers. This site carries no third-party ad pixels.
• Precise location data. Delivery estimates are derived from the country you select, not your device location.

Why we use it

• To fulfil your order: taking payment, sourcing your watch, and shipping it to the address you gave us.
• To keep you informed: order confirmation, shipping and delivery notifications.
• To provide support: answering your questions and handling returns.
• To meet our obligations: keeping financial records for tax and accounting purposes, and preventing fraud.

Our legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to sell and deliver your order), legal obligation (retaining financial records), and legitimate interests (preventing fraud and improving our service). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, and only with processors who are contractually bound to protect it:

• Our payment processor — to take payment and confirm the transaction.
• Our email provider — to send order and shipping notifications.
• Our cloud database provider — to store orders securely.
• Carriers and our supplier — your name and delivery address, so your parcel can be shipped and delivered.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone, for any purpose.

International transfers

Some of our processors operate outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

• Order records: retained for the period required by tax and accounting law, then deleted.
• Account information: kept until you ask us to delete your account.
• Support messages: kept for up to two years so we can pick up an ongoing issue.

Your rights

You have the right to access a copy of your data, correct anything inaccurate, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, and receive your data in a portable format. Email support@seigem.com and we will respond within one month.

If you believe we have handled your data incorrectly, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

Orders and customer data are stored in a managed cloud database with strict access rules. Administrative access requires multi-factor verified credentials and is limited to those who need it. Order tracking links for guests use unguessable, revocable tokens so one customer can never view another's order.

Cookies

We use only what is necessary for the site to function: a cart stored in your browser so it survives a page reload, and a secure session cookie if you sign in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we will update the date below and, where the change affects existing customers, notify you by email.
